Sidas Volume Reducer 5mm helps reduce internal volume in a variety of footwear in cases of excess space.
These volume reducers are a cost-effective way to improve the fit of any type of footwear and are easy to fit, simply going under the footbed inside the boot. They work particularly well in ski boots which have either been bought a little on the big side or where the liner has compressed and got bigger with age, plus they can be an effective solution to the problem of excessive heel lift.
This volume-reducer can be placed under a Sidas insole to reduce the fitting room and provide better foot support inside the boot, for superior precision and comfort. To use, remove the existing insole and place it on top of the new Sidas insole. Align the back of the heels and draw around the shape at the front as a trim guide. Trim the Sidas insole to fit, then replace the existing insole with the Sidas insole. Check the fit to ensure the insole does not curl up at the front or sides.
