Rare Vintage 1971 Olympia Brewing Company 75th Anniversary Corporate Holiday Gift Box Set with Unused Malfred Linen Handkerchiefs

​Up for purchase is a rare piece of Pacific Northwest breweriana and corporate history. Issued by the Olympia Brewing Company (Tumwater, WA) to commemorate their 75th Anniversary (1896–1971), this original presentation gift set was sent out as a seasonal holiday item. 

​What’s Included:

​75th Anniversary Insert Card: Features a classic oval illustration depicting the historic original Tumwater brewery site along the river with "Season's Greetings" on the front. Inside text reads: "On this our 75th anniversary, we extend a very special greeting for the holidays and the wish that each day of the New Year will add to your happiness. Olympia Brewing Company." 

​Fine Linen & Lace Handkerchiefs (2): Includes one white linen handkerchief with detailed drawn-work floral embroidery featuring the original blue/silver Malfred oval foil sticker still attached, and one folded handkerchief with wide, intricate lace edging/corners. 

​Original Outer Presentation Box: A repurposed NoMend box used by the brewery to pack and send the set. End stamping reads "44 TYPE 2 TUMBLEWEED 9½". 

​Condition Details:

​Contents (Card & Handkerchiefs): In excellent vintage condition. The handkerchiefs appear unused/NOS with the original Malfred sticker firmly attached. The insert card has light toning consistent with age. 

​Outer Box: Shows significant wear, including crushing, corner tears, edge splits, tape residue, and age staining as shown in photos.
