VINTAGE 2005 GEMMY 4-FOOT CHRISTMAS SNOW GLOBE INFLATABLE – BLOWER TESTED WORKING – SNOW MOVEMENT OBSERVED – GREAT RESTORATION OPPORTUNITY!
Offered here is a large vintage 2005 Gemmy Airblown Christmas Snow Globe inflatable featuring a festive snowman display with swirling artificial snow.
This is an impressive holiday yard decoration, standing approximately 4 feet tall when properly inflated, with a large transparent globe designed to create a winter snow scene.
PLEASE READ THE TESTING AND CONDITION DETAILS BELOW. THIS ITEM WAS PARTIALLY TESTED AND IS BEING SOLD AT A SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNT BECAUSE FULL OPERATION HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED.
I personally plugged in this inflatable to evaluate its operation and observed the following:
THE ELECTRIC BLOWER POWERED ON AND OPERATED.
The inflatable began filling with air.
The transparent globe material appeared remarkably clean and clear during inspection.
Artificial snow was visibly moving inside the globe.
The blower continued operating during my limited testing.
The inflatable was taking some time to fully inflate. Once I confirmed the blower was operating and the globe was beginning to inflate, I ended the test and carefully returned everything to its box.
I DID NOT ALLOW THE INFLATABLE TO REACH FULL INFLATION. COMPLETE OPERATION HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED.
During inspection, I noticed two issues worth mentioning.
1. DISCONNECTED CENTER COMPONENT
A component located near the center of the display appeared to be disconnected.
I could not determine whether this part was broken, simply detached, or needed to be reconnected or secured.
The artificial snow was moving inside the globe during testing, but I believe this center component may need attention for the snow effect to function as originally intended.
I am not familiar enough with the internal construction of this inflatable to determine exactly what is needed.
2. BLOWER SUPPORT / PLASTIC HOUSING
Some plastic around the blower assembly appeared to be missing or damaged, possibly from its original support structure.
Despite this, THE BLOWER DID OPERATE DURING TESTING, and the inflatable began filling with air.
The extent of any needed repair or replacement is unknown.
One particularly appealing feature is the condition of the transparent globe material.
During my inspection, the plastic appeared impressively clean and clear, especially for a vintage Christmas decoration dating to 2005.
The globe's transparency is an important part of its appearance because it allows the snowman display and swirling snow effect to be seen.
With appropriate inspection and any necessary repairs, this could make a beautiful, eye-catching holiday decoration. Full operation and successful restoration are not guaranteed.
Please review the photographs closely for the actual condition of the inflatable, blower assembly, internal components, packaging, and any visible wear.

Similar vintage Gemmy snow globe inflatables are sometimes advertised for considerably higher prices.
I HAVE INTENTIONALLY PRICED THIS ONE WELL BELOW MANY COMPARABLE ASKING PRICES BECAUSE I CANNOT CONFIRM THAT EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY.
Rather than spend time disassembling or attempting to repair a collectible inflatable that I'm not familiar with, I am offering it in its present condition.
The blower works, the globe begins inflating, and the artificial snow moves, but the center component and blower supports need inspection, and complete inflation has not been verified.
For someone familiar with repairing vintage Gemmy inflatables, this may be an appealing restoration project.
It is being sold with these limitations clearly disclosed, and buyers should anticipate the possibility of additional repairs or replacement parts.
PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SHIPPING COST BEFORE PURCHASING.
This is a LARGE holiday decoration with a substantial shipping box.
Shipping charges reflect the packaged size, weight, and distance to the buyer. Because of the box dimensions, shipping may be considerably more expensive than for ordinary small holiday decorations.
