Italian rework specialists R&C have been busy of late, with the pair dropping a series of seriously Balearic re-rub releases, all in ultra-limited numbers. This time round, as the 'In Order To Michael' suggestion, the twosome have their wicked way with much-loved gems from the King of Pop himself. There are no track titles, but there's plenty to set the pulse racing. They first re-imagine 'I Can't Help It' as a woozy chunk of tactile deep house excellence, before joining the dots between electro, breaks and Balearic deep house on a serious summer swelter. Over on side B, boundaries are blurred between freestyle, electrofunk and house on a take on Rockwell's 'Somebody's Watching Me' (which of course featured MJ chorus and backing vocals), while the closing cut reimagines 'Gotta Be Startin' Something' as a percussion rich slab of warming deep house/disco fusion.
