R Fisher British Birds Chess Set Blade Runner J F Sebastian 32 Pieces Vintage

Complete 32-piece British Birds chess set featuring the distinctive sculptural designs attributed to artist R. Fisher, depicting various birds native to the British Isles and North America. The design is famously associated with J.F. Sebastian’s chess set in the 1982 sci-fi film Blade Runner. Please note that the standard British Birds set is almost identical to the set used in Blade Runner; the pawns differ, it is believed the film’s prop master combined pieces from two different sets to create the screen-used set. Chess pieces only; no board or original box.

Good used vintage condition overall with minor age-related cosmetic wear. About 7 pieces have minor damages, mostly small beak chips, missing beaks. Please see the photos for close ups. A very usable and displayable set.
