THE CURE – WISH – ORIGINAL 1992 PROMOTIONAL RECORD SHOP DISPLAY
Rare original promotional point-of-sale display produced for The Cure’s 1992 album Wish.
This is a substantial three-dimensional freestanding cardboard display, measuring approximately 71 × 69 × 9.5 cm, featuring the distinctive Wish album artwork.
The display has a separate circular Wish artwork panel which can be removed from the centre and displayed separately, as shown in the photographs.
This was promotional record-shop material rather than an item offered for general retail sale, and is an unusual surviving piece of original Wish-era Cure memorabilia.

Original promotional item dating from 1992 and therefore now over 30 years old.
It remains highly presentable but shows genuine signs of age, previous display and storage, including:
• Edge and corner wear
• Surface marks and scuffs
• Some age-related discolouration and marking
• Wear/marking to the rear
• Fold-out rear supports are present
• Clear plastic window needs re-sticking.
Whilst I have given it a good clean, it has not been restored, and the photographs show the item in its current condition - it could do with some TLC and I would rather leave that to the winning bidder.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description, particularly given the age and collectible nature of the item.
