This set is new, without a price tag. The earrings are about 2 ½” from top to bottom, x ⅞” in width. They were bought in Spain, specifically in Toledo. Damascene jewelry is made by hand-chiseling intricate designs into iron or steel and hammering fine gold or silver wire into the grooves. The metal is then oxidized to create a jet-black background that makes the precious metal inlay stand out.
