1930s 1940s KEWTIE MINIATURE LADIES RAZOR LAPIN PRODUCTIONS INC. BOUDOIR COSMETIC TRAVEL

Lapin Productions Inc of New Jersey, USA produced the Kewtie Miniature Ladies Razor in the 1930s and 1940s. It was heavily marketed for travel and light hair removal such as trimming eyebrows or quick touch-ups. The mini safety razor has a light blue bakelite plastic handle and clam shell alligator-head shaped case for a ladies vanity or boudoir. There are three razor sleeves. One is empty. By the feel of the other two, they possibly each have a razor blade enclosed. I cannot confirm that for sure because I do not want to open the sealed sleeves.

The razor and case are in very good condition. This set was with my dad's collection. It possibly belonged to his mom.
