Available for sale is a quality  aquatint entitled "The Guardian"  an antique print or etching created by the 19th-century British caricaturist and printmaker Joe Lisle  (active circa 1800–1899) Early-to-mid 19th century (associated with Lisle's satirical works and character etchings published in London during the 1820s–1830s, such as his aquatints and companion pieces like The Spectator)

Joe Lisle was known for his social satire, eccentric visual puns, and depictions of prominent British periodicals of the era. "The Guardian" is part of an acclaimed suite of aquatint engravings titled The Essayists, which personified and poked fun at contemporary publications—including other well-known titles of the day like The Mirror. Original plates or impressions from this collection occasionally appear on the market through specialist antique dealers or at fine art auctions.

Condition some surface soiling to the paper due to  age  plus a right edge tear almost to image and top right corner loss hence cheaper and close mount

I will fit in with specific requests .
