This listing is for carved wood tray that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told its history. Some research leads me to think that it is possibly from the Middle East or India but that is only a weak guess on my part. It looks vintage or possibly antique to me but I do not know enough about it to say how old it is. I have not found a similar one on the internet. I leave it to the buyer to how old it is and where it is from.

Including the handles, it   measures close to 22 inches long by 11 1/4 inches wide and weighs close to 3 pounds 5 ounces. The photos show some small blue letters on the bottom that might be read "UIA". I am not sure about the "I". 

The condition is much like you can see it in the photos. There are some light scratches and scuffs. There are no cracks or chips. It might benefit from a cleaning. Otherwise, it is fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of its general condition. 

I guarantee this tray to be as described and represented by the photos.

   Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure.

I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
