Vintage Dallas Model B banjo-ukulele (banjolele) is a professional instrument manufactured by John E. Dallas and Sons Ltd. in London during the pre-war era (1930s–1940s) and officially endorsed by British music hall legend George Formby.
Stained rosewood neck, body, and box resonator with an ebony fingerboard, accurately fretted with special drawn wire and inlaid with pearl position dots/marks.
Features a 6.75-inch flush rim with a white vellum head, with a stamped facsimile George Formby signature.
Nickel-plated metal parts, a heavy bezel, a metal tone plate, and 8 sunk pull-down tension rods. Fitted with non-slip tuning pegs and an endorsement badge featuring a picture and printed name of George Formby.
The Model B offered a reliable, punchy percussive tone suited for music hall and vaudeville styles.
