Five decades on and Devo are rightly recognised as a cultural treasure from the early days of US new wave, but even by the time they released their Brian Eno-produced debut album in 1978 they were five years in and way ahead of the curve. As the band reflect on half a century at the cutting edge, Rhino have pulled together an expansive retrospective which comes in many different iterations. This particular edition, pressed on red and blue double vinyl, gathers together 25 classic and lesser known cuts from the band's considerable archives, housed with stunning artwork in a gatefold sleeve and is sure to become a collectors' item.
