Unused transfer sheet included (race number 8, Matra F1, Elf, Ford, Dunlop and Jackie Stewart lettering). Presented in the original Solido red-and-yellow window box, titled Matra V8 F.1. Made in France.

The Real Car

The Matra V8 was France’s Ford DFV-powered Formula 1 car of the late 1960s. Jackie Stewart won the 1969 World Championship in the Matra MS80. Solido’s 173 is the period 1:43 issue of that high-wing Matra, supplied with a Stewart / Elf transfer sheet — the same window-box series as the Gulf Mirage.
