These distinctive hand-etched messages are one of the great little details associated with early UK copies of Jailbreak and make this a much more interesting proposition than a standard later pressing or modern reissue.

Released in 1976 and produced by John Alcock, Jailbreak was the album that propelled Thin Lizzy into the big league, driven by The Boys Are Back In Town, Jailbreak, Cowboy Song and Emerald.

With Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, Brian Robertson and Brian Downey at full strength, it's arguably the definitive Thin Lizzy line-up on their defining studio album.
