Stone Testing

Multiple green beads from different strands were tested using a Presidium Gem Tester II and consistently registered in the jade/nephrite range. Multiple cream/white beads were also tested and consistently registered in the quartz/amethyst/citrine range.

The smoky gray faceted accent beads register just above the glass range and are being described conservatively as glass/crystal.

Gemstones have not been professionally laboratory certified. Exact jade variety, origin, treatment/enhancement and natural color have not been determined. Presidium testing results are provided for informational purposes.

Condition

Pre-owned condition. The clasp, extender chain and silver-tone metal findings show noticeable to heavy finish wear, tarnish/discoloration and surface wear from age and use. The clasp remains present and functional. Please examine the close-up photographs carefully for the condition of the metal components.

The gemstone beads remain beautiful overall, with natural variations and minor signs of previous use as expected.
