For those who aren't familiar with the Jaguar XFR:
It is a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive only, it rockets from 0–60 mph in about 4.3 seconds, a little quicker now with the undersized pulley. This example has the speed pack, giving it a top speed electronically soft-limited to 174mph. It's known to be a 200mph 4 door saloon with isofix (with top tether!) that can carry 2 spin seats and a boot big enough to carry 2 prams with enough spare to fit the paraphernalia associated with kids and a weekend away.
It's main competition was e60 era M5 and e55 AMG. With reviews showing they were very comparable, but the XFR was more expensive as a base model yet carried more spec. With the M5 being slightly faster on track and the xfr being better on the road with its continuously adaptive shocks.

-Spec'd new with no radar, no tyre pressure sensors, no rev camera for its 1st owner, a manager at bromwich jaguar who wanted a fast, yet reliable car. Which he owned for around 9 years. I am the 3rd owner (2 previous on the logbook) and am coming up to my 3rd year of ownership.
-Self serviced by a professional, but more importantly die-hard car enthusiast. With over 2 decades as a mechanic; experience including car, hgv and aviation.

-New main (recent warranty replacement 27/04/26) and secondary-batteries.

The less good:
-The rear tyres are now coming up for replacement yet aren't bad enough to gain an advisory on the MOT.
-The car is 12 years old and has marks of some sort on basically every panel. It is not a prestine car however is very presentable and therefore a joy to drive without worry.
-The interior buttons have gone "sticky" as the soft feel buttons have degraded.
-Rencently a belt has started to squeel once in a while, generally when on full throttle for a while, I assume it is the supercharger belt, uprated versions are now available.
No test pilots, you are welcome to drive the car, but I need the cash in my hand, a copy of your driving licences and a copy of your insurance stating cover on this car by reg.
