The story unfolds in Paris, France, in 1499—23 years after the events of the popular *Castlevania* series.
Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, the hero who slew Dracula, sets out to defeat monsters while exploring the streets of Paris and Castlevania, wielding a variety of weapons and skills, including the sacred whip “Vampire Killer.”
