Add an intriguing piece of Asian ceramic to your collection with this assumed Chinese Yixing teapot, complete with its original cover and internal strainer. While its exact origin or age remains uncertain to me, it is traditionally assumed to date from the late 19th or early 20th century.

The cylindrical teapot is crafted from classic unglazed zisha clay and features distinct geometric and stylized character decorations. The main body is encircled by an upper band of interlocking geometric patterns above vertical columns of impressed seal-script characters.

The base features a neatly impressed square maker's mark depicting a multi-petaled floral blossom enclosed within a geometric border.

Standing at approximately 10cm tall, the teapot is in overall good condition, though there are some light nibbles inside the strainer. Please review all photos for a full assessment of the condition.
