Description

Trimble Trimmark 3 UHF radio modem in the 450-470 MHz band, in good working condition and supplied as a complete, ready-to-deploy kit. The Trimmark 3 is the workhorse base radio behind countless RTK setups — selectable 2 W / 10 W / 25 W output, a front-panel display for quick channel and power changes in the field, and rugged construction rated from −40°C to +65°C.

This unit has been updated to firmware version 1.30, the final and most capable Trimmark 3 release. Version 1.30 is the firmware Trimble specifies for broadcasting GLONASS data — older 1.0x/1.1x builds cannot do it, so a 1.30 unit is what you want if your base is putting out GPS + GLONASS corrections.

The 13 standard pre-programmed transmit & receive frequencies are already installed, so the radio is ready to pair with Trimble, Topcon, and other UHF rovers operating in the surveyors' 450-470 MHz band without a trip to a dealer for programming.

Channel spacing: Trimmark 3 modems are configured for either 12.5 kHz or 25 kHz channel spacing, and every unit in a network must run the same spacing. Since the 2013 FCC narrowbanding deadline, US operators in the 450-470 MHz band generally need 12.5 kHz. Message us to confirm this unit's current configuration before purchase — we're glad to check.
