Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool Shirt.  Nice condition, unchanged and not out of the box except to check it out since it was purchased about four years ago or so.

THERE AREN'T ANY GOOD PHOTOS BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO REMOVE THE ITEM FROM ITS BAG/PACKAGING.

The previous owner described this as:

Deadpool Ryan Reynolds Movie Used Spandex Shirt.

This is the undershirt Ryan wore in Deadpool one under his uniform. You can see in the film that he is wearing it when looking at his hands, neck, and armpits. Also there are shoulder pads and a chest pad that you can see under the uniform in shots. This is an amazing piece that I found a couple years back, but not exactly the kind of thing that I collect. Happy hunting and good luck on your bidding.

Seems genuine, AI thinks so as well (see below) totally legit COA it comes with, I even at some point saw a photo of him wearing it in one of the movie scenes.  Nice item, I guess.

Artificial Intelligence search via Google:

where in the movie would Ryan Reynolds have worn something like this (I'm pretty sure the COA is authentic)? It looks like a black thermal.
Your Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is indeed legitimate, and the item itemized under serial number RMD6289 was sold during the Hollywood Extravaganza Movie Prop and Costume Auction.
While the shirt looks and feels like a heavy thermal to you, it is officially classified in production records as a black spandex undershirt. In filmmaking, these tight, moisture-wicking layers serve two vital purposes: protecting the actor's skin from the rough interior lining of a heavy costume and keeping them cool under intense studio lighting. [1]
Because it was worn entirely hidden beneath other wardrobe pieces, Ryan Reynolds wore this exact shirt in two specific contexts during the production of Deadpool:
1. Directly Underneath the Deadpool Armor
The primary purpose of this specific spandex shirt was to serve as a base layer beneath the red-and-black Deadpool superhero suit. The main suit consists of highly textured, thick fabrics and complex internal padding designed by the costume team. Reynolds wore this sleek black undergarment directly against his skin to prevent severe chafing from the suit’s rigid sub-structure and to manage sweat during physically demanding stunt sequences.
2. Underneath Wade Wilson's Civilian Wardrobe
Alternatively, this garment was utilized as a layering piece under Wade Wilson's casual, everyday clothes before he transitions into his superhero persona. Throughout the movie, Wade frequently wears layered casual looks—such as hoodies, flannel shirts, and dark jackets—during scenes in Sister Margaret’s bar or his apartment. This compression-style shirt was often layered underneath those outfits to maintain a tight, consistent bodily silhouette on camera.
If you plan to display the piece, I can give you some tips on the best archival framing methods to protect the fabric, or help you look up similar production items from the movie. Which path would you like to explore?
