This large, vintage -most possibly antique - brass and copper ewer is sure to make a statement. I believe it may be an Indian ceremonial Aftaba, although the base is stamped as made in Pakistan. It features an intricate, embossed floral design with snake scale details to the handles, and what may be an elephant head spout. The lid is hinged and has a perfect fit to the base. It's certainly the most elegant watering device I've ever used!

It is large, so please look at the photos and compare to the cup.

Size: approximately 29cmx17cmx51cm, weight 963g.

Condition: "Used" but in very good condition; it has been tested as water tight.
It has had a good polish, but is not over-polished and retains some tarnish and aged appearance.
