Classic Airframes Avro Anson Mk.I (Early Model) in 1:48 scale, kit No. 4120. This is the sought-after 2006 limited-run multimedia release of the early-version Anson. Contemporary references identify No. 4120 specifically as the Mk.I with the early-style windscreen.
This is considerably more than a conventional injection-molded kit. Classic Airframes supplied the kit with injection-molded plastic, clear parts, resin detail components and photo-etched metal, giving the model a highly detailed interior and exterior. A contemporary preview confirms the resin and etched-metal components as well as the clear transparency sprue.
All parts are in sealed bags and are in excellent condition. The kit includes:
The original decals provide three marking options.
This is an appealing kit for the experienced aircraft modeler as well as collectors of discontinued Classic Airframes limited-run kits.
Complete, unbuilt kit with all model components in sealed interior bags.
The interior contents are in excellent condition. Resin parts, photo-etched parts, transparent parts, regular plastic parts, decals and instructions are included.
The original box shows storage and age-related wear. There are several creases in the box top, along with edge and corner wear and abrasions. One corner/edge area has more noticeable creasing, as shown in the close-up photograph. The inside of the box cover also shows signs of aging.
There are no significant dings, dents or crushing beyond the creasing and wear described above, and the interior model components have not been affected.
Please examine all photographs carefully; they form an important part of the condition description.

Published references describe this as a 2006-vintage Classic Airframes release and confirm kit No. 4120 as the early-version Anson.
Classic Airframes specialized in limited-run subjects that were often unavailable from mainstream manufacturers. No. 4120 combines short-run injection-molded components with resin and photo-etched details. Contemporary examination of the kit describes three large gray plastic sprues, a clear sprue, resin components and etched metal.
The Avro Anson originated as a military development of the Avro 652 and first flew in 1935. It became an important RAF aircraft and was particularly significant as a multi-engine aircrew trainer during World War II. More than 11,000 Ansons were ultimately produced in Britain and Canada.
The model will be carefully packed inside a sturdy outer shipping carton with appropriate cushioning to protect both the kit contents and the original collectible box during shipment.
