Description
I have decided to sell off my collection of walking stick shaft blanks which have been cut and dry stored for a number of years (a minimum of 3-4 years) so all of the sticks I have listed are well seasoned and ready to work on immediately.
Most of my stick shanks are Blackthorn but there will be the occasional Hawthorn.
Each listing will state exactly what species of tree the shank is from and some very brief info about the type of stick and length. More detailed information will be included in the individual stick details below.
Details Of This Stick Are As Follows
THIS IS ASH NOT BLACKTHORN
Lovely straight stick measures 130 cm total length
Very clean nice stick. Nice colour.
Smooth bark feels nice in the hand. It has a natural fault in the shaft bark probably deer chewing I would guess.
Lots of knuckles along the length of the stick.
Strong shaft will make a nice hiking staff
Top of stick is 30m diameter down at the tip is 25mm diameter
I have lots of sticks coming up for sale so please keep revisiting to see if any of them catch your eye. This is the perfect opportunity to get a ready seasoned stick upon which you can stamp your own authority.
I try to keep the shipping costs down to a minimum, however due to the length of some of these sticks, only specialist couriers will ship them. If I can I will also combine shipping costs so the more you buy the more you save.
