8vo. Hardcover bound in publisher's binding of full suede with clasps and metal studs. Top edge gilt.

Illustrated in the style of a medieval manuscript by Evelyn Paul with additional plates in color.

Adaptation of Celtic-French retellings of the tragedy of Tristram and Iseult.

CONDITION:

Suede boards have scratches, rubbing, smudges, surface abrasions along clasps and edges, bumping to corners, other light edge and corner wear. Spine has a decent amount of dryness, rubbing, abrasions, with fraying to spine tail as often seen with delicate suede bindings. Pages edges a bit browned and scratched. Internally, occasional pitting and a bit of scattered foxing or toning. Binding, hinges, joints tight. 

Overall: Very Good. Fairly well preserved for a delicate suede binding.
