BADGER’S STATEMENT:
Yeah, this is the one you wear open and slightly too big. Vintage late 80s/90s Sweater Graphix cardigan in this killer dusty eggplant purple with contrast gray trim, deep V front, chunky buttons, drop shoulders and those little front pockets. Tagged Large with a 100% acrylic knit body and cotton woven detail. The shape is doing most of the work here — relaxed, slouchy, boxy and very intentionally I stole this from somebody’s grandpa in 1994.
Styling is basically free. Leave it unbuttoned over a faded band tee or trashed graphic tee, throw on loose Levi’s or carpenter jeans, then Docs, Converse or Sambas and you’re done. It’s got that Kurt Cobain / college radio / thrift-store grunge energy without looking like a costume. The purple makes it way more interesting than the usual beige grandpa cardigan too. Perfect oversized layering piece for anyone chasing that 90s alt, indie sleaze, grunge or modern grandpacore look.
