A fine single antique Chinese hardwood panel, beautifully inlaid on both sides with boxwood and pale bone. Dating to the Late Qing Dynasty / Late 19th Century, matching the style and period of the set of three panels previously listed.

Design & Theme

• Side One: Hehe Erxian (The Two Immortals of Harmony) – the classic motif representing harmony, unity, good fortune and happy unions, accompanied by boys, toads, pine and clouds for prosperity and longevity.

• Side Two: Elegant court ladies in a landscape setting, with ceremonial vessels and pavilions – a traditional auspicious scene of grace and blessings.

• Craftsmanship: Precise inlay work in warm boxwood and smooth bone against a rich dark hardwood ground; every figure and detail is carefully carved and fitted.

• Condition: All inlaid figures and decoration are complete and secure. The wood shows age‑related patina, minor surface wear and old mounting holes – all original and consistent with age; no cracks, chips or repairs to the inlay.
