Set of 4 antique wood wheel furniture casters with long metal stems. Great original furniture hardware for restoration, replacement or architectural salvage use.

Each caster features a solid wood wheel held in an aged metal fork with a long rounded stem. The set has substantial original patina and an untouched, as-found appearance.

Wheels measure approximately 1 1/4” in diameter, with overall height approximately 3”. Please see measurement photos for exact sizing and compatibility with your furniture.

Condition is consistent with considerable age and use, including surface rust and oxidation, darkening, scratches, grime, discoloration and wear to the wood wheels and metal hardware. The four are similar but show individual differences in patina and wear.

Untested and sold as-is. I have not tested these for smooth rolling, swiveling, installation or weight-bearing ability. No additional mounting hardware or sockets are included.

Excellent old hardware for an antique dresser, table, cabinet, chest, vanity, washstand or other furniture restoration project. Also useful for period furniture repair or architectural salvage collections.
