I am pleased to offer an original postcard showing the White Star Line Majestic II with a huge dockhead crane at Southampton. She is in the floating dry dock which was commissioned in 1924. Looking closely at the stern, you can make out some of the elaborate gilt scrolling and a white painted circle containing a White Star flag - the latter a unique design feature on both port and starboard sides. A less commonly seen card by F G O Stuart. Thank you for looking.
