This original negative was photographed by Mr. Silk Stockings himself: Elmer Batters.
Provenance: We purchased this image as part of the archive of Parliament Publications in the mid 1990's.
Elmer was the art director for this publisher for over 6 years during the early 1960's.

Don't be fooled by some other sellers who both claim to be selling photographs attributed
to Elmer (mostly not) and also selling them for outrageous prices. Just because the model
is wearing nylons does not mean that she was photographed by Elmer Batters.

We supplied over 400 original images that were included in
Taschen Publishing's "The Big Book of Legs" in 2009,
and we guarantee that this image was taken by Elmer Batters.
