Part Terms & Conditions

1. General Conditions

• a) JTW Autoparts offers a full refund or replacement warranty on used parts for a period of 6 months from the purchase date. Extended warranty covering parts and labour expense is available on enquiry.
• b) All panels sold rust-free carry a lifetime rust-out warranty.
• c) JTW Autoparts will supply, free of charge, any components required to rectify an authorised claim and reserves the right to supply used components where necessary.
• d) All claims must be made to the outlet where the goods were purchased, accompanied by this warranty and the original receipt. Repairs without written consent from JTW Autoparts are not covered.
• e) Warranty is void if parts are dismantled or tampered with. Items returned under warranty must be complete and in as-supplied condition.
• f) Goods must be returned within 30 days (at the purchaser’s expense) to qualify for a refund.
• g) Incorrect or faulty goods returned will be at JTW Autoparts' expense.
• h) JTW Autoparts cannot accept returns on special-order parts or cut body sections.
• i) JTW Autoparts is not responsible for consequential loss, damage, loss of income, or downtime caused by the failure of any sold part.
• j) JTW Autoparts will repair, replace, or provide a full refund in relation to a defective part, providing all warranty guidelines & procedures have been followed. Please contact JTW Autoparts before any attempted repair or replacement of the part is initiated. JTW Autoparts must approve these operations or the warranty may be voided.
• k) Incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to the cost of related parts, loss of income, travel expenses, rental, towing, and diagnostics fees are not covered by this warranty.
• l) This warranty will not cover damages or failure arising directly or indirectly due to improper or non-standard installation or misuse, abuse, maintenance neglect, environmental conditions, or accidents.

2. Major Mechanical Items – Engines, Gearboxes, Differentials

• a) All warranty claims must be completed and returned to the JTW Autoparts within 6 months of the invoice date.
• b) Second-hand engine - 6 months/15,000km warranty. Warranty covers part replacement or full refund and applies to standard fitment only. Damage resulting from over-heating is not covered. Radiator to be tested and serviced or replaced. Hoses and water fittings must be checked, new genuine thermostat to be fitted. JTW recommends existing front and rear crank seals be replaced with new genuine seals. Oil leaks from main crankcase seals are not covered under this warranty. Rocker cover seals, sump seals and any other oil seals need to be inspected and replaced if required as repair of oil leaks from these seals is considered normal maintenance and is not covered under this warranty. Any timing belt to be replaced with new genuine. Any existing waterpump is not warranted and should be replaced. Warranty does not apply to any existing ancillaries (such as wiring harness, alternator, starter, compressor, steering pump, etc). Vehicle registration and odometer reading to be recorded at time of installation.
• c) Failure or damage to of mechanical parts as a result of the following will not be covered under this warranty:
• i) Insufficient or incorrect oil and/or lubricants,
• ii) Overheating or missing heat shields,
• iii) Misuse, overloading, accidents, or negligence,
• iv) Failure to service the part,
• v) Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or dismantling,
• vi) Improper installation.
• d) Second-hand transmission - 6 months/15,000km warranty. Warranty covers part replacement or full refund and must be fitted to original engine configuration for warranty to be valid. Input and output seals to be checked and replaced if required. Oil cooler and oil lines must be flushed or replaced. Many later model auto trans require ecu re-learn after installation - consult OEM.
• Note:
• If a fault occurs, it is your responsibility to cease operation and report the problem to the warranty officer at your original outlet immediately. Failure to do so may result in further damage and void warranty eligibility.
• If a claim is declined, JTW Autoparts reserves the right to recover costs associated with transport, dismantling, and inspection.
• In the event of a dispute, eBay will be appointed to provide an independent opinion.
• JTW Autoparts is not responsible for for any implied or verbal representations not stated in this policy.

3. Making a Claim – Major Mechanical Items

• Before any repair is commenced:
• Contact JTW Autoparts through eBay.

RETURNS POLICY GENERAL

At JTW Autoparts, we want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. That’s why all parts are covered by our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

How to Return an Item if you have changed your mind

• Open a return request through eBay and select the reason “I changed my mind.”
• The item must be returned within 30 days of purchase at the buyer's expense.
• You will get a full refund less the amount JTW Autoparts has incurred in freight.
• If a correctly supplied item is returned after 30 days, a 20% handling fee may apply.

Faulty or Defective Parts

• If any part we’ve supplied proves faulty within the warranty period, you may return it for a replacement.
• Contact us through eBay and a return label will be issued for you to send the item back.
• If a replacement is not available within a reasonable time, a full refund will be issued instead.

Change-of-Mind Returns

• If a correctly supplied item is returned after 30 days, a 20% handling fee will apply.

Damaged on Delivery

• Inspect your order before signing for it.
• If the item appears damaged, refuse delivery and contact us within 1 business day.
• This allows us to lodge a claim with the courier and arrange a resolution.
• Items signed for as being in good condition are not eligible for courier-related damage claims.
• Marking the consignment as "unchecked" or "unexamined" is not sufficient protection.

Incorrect Orders

• If the wrong part is ordered, contact us immediately via eBay message.
• The item must be returned within 30 days of purchase at the buyer's expense.
• A full refund will be issued once the item is received and inspected less the amount JTW Autoparts has incurred in freight.

Important Notes

• By clicking “Make Offer” or “Buy It Now”, all terms and conditions are accepted.
• Title of goods remains with JTW Autoparts until full cleared payment is received.

Shipping Policy

• JTW Autoparts ship to all parts of Australia and beyond using one of our trusted carriers.

• Smaller items may be sent via Australia Post.

• Palletised items (this will include engines, transmissions, rear axle assemblies, differentials, transfer cases, doors, botiids, wheels and other large items) require delivery to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift to unload. For these items we suggest shipping direct to the shop that is installing the part or we can deliver to a freight depot for your collection.

Due to the weight, dimensions, and handling requirements of engines and gearboxes and big parts, we offer the following options for freight:

• Option 1: Simply go to checkout and accept standard freight

• Option 2: Request a Freight Quote from us

• If you like we can provide you with a competitive freight quote based on the latest rates. Simply request by message.

• Option 3: Arrange Your Own Freight (Customer Pickup)

• If you prefer to use your own freight provider, you may arrange to have the goods collected from our warehouse.
