BUCK’S STATEMENT:
This is the kind of old white T-shirt that looks like it spent decades earning every stain, hole and worn-out thread it has. Picture a hot summer afternoon sometime in the late 1960s or ’70s—the garage door rolled open, an old radio playing from the workbench, hands covered in grease, and this simple white V-neck already long past being anybody’s “good shirt.” Somewhere along the way the bright white faded to a warm, uneven cream, the cotton became remarkably soft and thin, and years of honest wear left behind the scattered marks, stains and holes that no factory distressing can convincingly reproduce.
Today, that wear is exactly what gives this shirt its character. It is an unbranded size Medium vintage V-neck with a beautifully worn, lightweight appearance and extensive distressing throughout, including staining, discoloration, marks, small and larger holes, worn areas and age-related wear. This is being offered specifically as a heavily thrashed vintage piece, so please review all photographs closely and expect substantial condition issues. Worn layered, used for styling or added to a collection of early vintage blanks and workwear, it has the imperfect, lived-in look that only comes from decades of actual use.
