I bought this car in 2015 from my mate and took it on a couple of track days when it was still on leaf springs, it was a good solid shell that had a lot of time and money already put into it, but I decided to take it into the garage with a pal of mine (Ian), to tear apart and completely rebuild the entire thing.
I sent the engine to Field Motorsport to be fully rebuilt and spent a lot of money on the internals.
We did all the turreting, strengthening, six linking, suspension, brakes etc and I spent fortunes on it and a lot of time, then as soon as it was finished I put it in the garage and never drove the car once!
I left it there for almost ten years, so for all intents and purposes everything I put on this car is still brand new and unused including the engine, none of what I put on it has ever seen a road or track!
I've just spent almost £2500 getting it recommissioned back to a driveable standard.
The car has a few small bits of rust showing now and needs a bit of work doing to bring it back all the way, some of the gauges need wiring up and if you wanted to race it properly you would need seats and extinguisher re-done etc, but this is a very sound car that has had a lot of time and money spent on the correct bits, it went like stink before I had all the work done, so it's going to be a lot better and definitely handle a lot better now.

Due to space issues and the fact that I have a very small amount of patience when it comes to tyre kickers, dreamers and dribblers, I have left the car with my mate Ian to sell for me, as he is also the person that helped build it, he also has infinite space and a higher tolerance threshold for people that have to ask their wives permission before they can make a decision, than I do.

I'm not interested in buying and selling cars, however if it helps someone purchase this vehicle then I am willing to take a PX of up to £10k as long as it's worth the price and I can sell it for that easily enough, I'm not asking top money for this car, because I know it requires some work, however what I'm asking in light of the work it has had done to it is very reasonable, so if someone wants over the odds for their car it's not going to happen.

I've made this a very detailed listing so as Ian doesn't have to field a million questions about the car and you can make a fairly informed decision before you contact him.

I have a lot of pictures of the original build to prove that it wasn't some cobbled together rot box and a stack of paperwork for the car as it was from new and also what I have done to it.

For any enquiries please contact Ian on: 07831 677833

The car is located in the Billericay CM11 area of Essex
