This is a beautiful rare vintage dainty footed handleless thin porcelain set of two espresso sipper cups and four matching saucers from the 1950’s. They're were originally stickers on the bottom saying Japan with a rooster on the bottom that have been removed over the years. The saucers measures approximately 4 3/4” in diameter and the cup is approximately 2 1/2” tall x 2” in diameter. Both cups and saucers have scalloped rims with gold trim. The handleless cup has 3 feet with gold accents. White with what I believe to be hand-painted green and white with accents of pink lily of the valley. The cup has images on all sides. The cup also has ribbed sides. A lot of thought was put into the making these items!
I consider them all to be in great condition but please see all pictures to determine condition for yourself as well as see the measurements. Unfortunately I did have four of these expresso sipper cups but unfortunately right before I listed them I had an accident and dropped two of the cups that's why you will be getting only two cups with four saucers. I figured I would include the extra two saucers in case one of the other two or both get damaged You will have spares!
Sales are final, thanks for looking!
