This is a scarce FULL PLATE tintype measuring approximately 6.5" x 8.5". The frame measures approximately 12" x 14".
The man is identified as TIMOTHY LINSCOTT, most likely from MASSACHUSETTS. The piece of paper on the back indicates that TIMOTHY LINSCOTT was the great grandfather of MARION B MCFARLANE.
Condition is STUNNING! The image is bright and clear without damage. The old, appearing original frame has been painted black with gold inner trim.
