Used – Good antique condition
An attractive 133-year-old Victorian volume showing age-related wear consistent with its age. The decorative binding remains impressive with strong gilt lettering and ornamentation.
There is rubbing and wear to the boards, spine edges and corners. Foxing and age spotting are present internally, including to the title and preliminary pages. Page edges show age-related marks but retain their attractive gilt finish.
Please study all photographs carefully as they show the actual book and form an important part of the condition description.

Condition in detail
This is an antique book and is not being represented as being in modern or fine condition.
There is visible rubbing and wear to the binding, particularly around the corners and extremities. Internally there is foxing/spotting and general age toning, with some pages more affected than others.
The gilt page edges remain attractive but show marks and wear appropriate to age.
The binding appears substantially intact from inspection, but the book has not been individually collated page-by-page, so completeness cannot be guaranteed.
There is also an old handwritten owner’s name/inscription internally, visible in the photographs.
Please enlarge and examine the photographs before bidding. They are of the exact book you will receive and are intended to provide a clear representation of its condition.
A lovely surviving Victorian volume with appeal to collectors of Ellen G. White, Seventh-day Adventist history, Victorian theology, antique religious books and decorative bindings.
