They walked the fairgrounds hand in hand, wide-eyed at the Space Needle and the promise of what was to come, and picked up these globe salt and pepper shakers as a souvenir of that big adventure. Back home, they sat proudly on the kitchen table of a tidy Midwestern home — the same table where morning toast met percolator coffee and talk of the fair lingered for years.

Sixty years later, they’ve resurfaced, still gleaming with that same quiet optimism. The clear lucite globes catch the light just right, the golden bases worn smooth from years of gentle use.
