RANGE ROVER 2006 Facelift in black with beige leather interior.
This is the rarer Jaguar 4.4L V8 PETROL, normally aspirated engine with 115685 miles on the clock.
MOT until 08 October 2026.
Two owners from new, I have had this car since July 2014.
No expense has been spared on this vehicle as I like to keep my cars fully maintained and you can see from the paperwork that maintenance has not been an issue.
The car drives beautifully.
Wheels are all perfect and the tyres (Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/55 R19 M+S replaced in May 2024) have covered approx 3000 miles, so plenty of tread and probably another 15k-20k miles in them.
Spare replaced at the same time and still unused.
Comes with a GAP Diagnostic Tool which will allow you to configure some of the settings on the vehicle such as auto door lock when you drive away, or the ‘followw me home’ lights when you lock the vehicle, plus others that the manual will cover.
Comes with two keys, one upgraded to a flip when the rubber on the original key finally perished.
Additional flip key ready for upgrade in the glove box, this has not been cut or had the transponder relocated yet.
So why am I selling?
A change of job has reduced my very infrequent driving down to a very infrequent 2 mile trip, which is not suitable for a vehicle like this, the engine needs to warm up properly and 2 miles isn't enough.
Reserve set at the price I am being offered as part exchange, but hopefully going to someone who will appreciate a lovely vehicle rather than some faceless non-specialist garage.
REMINDER - this is a 20-year-old Range Rover.
It is NOT immaculate or “mint for its age” it is what you would expect for a 20 year old vehicle.
No, I don’t want to swap it for anything. I have another vehicle coming which will be more suited to my new driving distances.

THE CAR
I’m the second owner of this car and I’ve owned it since July 2014. While I’ve owned it, it has been fully serviced by a 4x4 specialist and for the last three years a Range Rover specialist.
ENGINE & GEARBOX
4.4 AJV8 Petrol
Engine and gearbox are solid.
Full service history up to 113,776 miles.
Next service and MOT due October 2026.
She pulls like a train, changes through the gears smoothly and has:
· No knocks
· No bangs
· No leaks
· No overheating
· No obvious engine or gearbox issues
· Hill descent works fine
· Low/High ratio works fine
INTERIOR
· Beige leather interior.
· No rips or tears
· Dash is solid
· Heavy-duty Range Rover interior mats
· Clarion CD player with 6 disc caddy (hello 1990's)
· Harman Kardon speakers
· Heated seats front and rear
· Heated steering wheel
· Reversing Camera
· Small mark on the tailgate carpet which was there when I purchased the car
· Some extra walnut trim, original silver pieces supplied too.
It's is a very pleasant place to sit when you are driving.
BODYWORK
Reasonable for a 20-year-old Range Rover
Some age-related marks and lacquer bubbling
A small dent in tailgate.
Scuff on front bumper from another vehicle driving badly in a car park (no details left)
Small dink on rear right from a careless shopper in a car park (no details left)
Crack on rear right light cover from yet another car park incident where no details were left - pfffft
VEHICLE
Full replacement of all suspension and brakes in 2023 and this will be good for some time.
Rear differential oil seal replaced and tie rods, track ends replaced in 2024
New radiator, lambda sensor and some bodywork welding in 2025
WHEELS & TYRES
The is on the original 19" alloys with four new Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/55 R19 M+S.
The alloys were refurbished in 2024 and are in really good condition.
THINGS I AM AWARE OF
· Aircon last gassed in 2023 and needs re-gassing
· Battery this was last replaced in 2024 and may need replacing or just a long run. Often the voltage is as low as 12.0
· Immobiliser, sometimes this refuses to recognise the key until a reset is performed by removing and re-inserting fuse 18. This is a 20 second job.
· Air suspension- annoyingly infrequently, the vehicle will sag on the right over time while parked, Once the car starts, everything levels up and all is good for some time. This was investigated by the Range Rover specialist and no leak or issues could be identified. At the moment this is just being put down to character.
· One of the speakers is struggling with heavy bass so will need to be checked or replaced.
· Front windscreen is the original and a couple of the electric wires at the edge don’t seem to work, so the heated windscreen demist is not full coverage.
· Rear screen, this is also the original and a couple of the electric wires don’t seem to work, so the heated windscreen demist is not full coverage.
So, yes… the car needs some work, it’s 20 years old so needs looking after, but if it is maintained it is a beautiful vehicle.
Still has an MOT (08 October 2026) and can therefore be driven away by the new owner.
Please remember that this is a 20-year-old Range Rover being sold in an open, honest and transparent manner.
Happy bidding!
