The author signed this when he came by The Booksmith here in San Francisco. I worked there for many years. He was excited that I had actually read his book in advance of its publication, hence the somewhat effusive inscription. The book is an interesting exploration of the candy business in the U.S. about 2 decades ago. 

This was received new and in very good condition. I take excellent care of my books in my smoke-free environment.
