Antique Oak Factory / Office Wall Clock with Day & AM/PM Indicator c.1925–1940
A substantial early 20th-century oak factory, office or institutional wall clock, dating to approximately the second quarter of the 20th century, circa 1925–1940.
The clock is housed in a solid oak glazed case with a hinged front door, stepped architectural top and moulded base. The large circular dial has bold black Roman numerals, a minute track and twin winding holes, surrounded by a brass bezel.
A particularly unusual feature is the separate day and AM/PM indicator, visible through a circular aperture below the dial. Internally, a rotating drum displays the days of the week together with “Morn.” and “Aft.”, giving the clock strong industrial and horological interest.
The rear reveals a substantial two-train mechanical movement, complete with twin mainsprings, pendulum and associated day-indicator mechanism. The movement is numbered 534.
The clock is currently running and is supplied with its winding key. As with any antique mechanical clock, long-term accuracy cannot be guaranteed and adjustment or servicing may be beneficial after transport.

Condition:
Good antique condition overall with genuine age-related wear, marks, scratches, patination and surface variation to the oak case and metalwork. The top shows historic wear, old paint marks and general surface wear consistent with many decades of use.
The dial remains highly presentable with minor age-related marks, while the brass and steel components retain an attractive aged finish. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
A highly decorative and unusual vintage factory clock, particularly appealing for its mechanical day and morning/afternoon indicator.
