Original 1915 postcard mailed from Adamsdale, Pennsylvania, a former post office community in Schuylkill County.
The front depicts a Washington, D.C. scene identified in the image as:
“White House, Washington, D.C.”
The photograph includes a prominent street advertising kiosk in the foreground advertising Pompeian Olive Oil, giving the card an especially interesting period commercial element.
The reverse is marked:
“Published by The National Photo Co., Washington, D.C.”
Most importantly for postal-history collectors, the card bears a very clear circular:

Adamsdale was a small community and post office in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The Adamsdale post office operated from:
1892–1962
It is therefore a DPO — Discontinued Post Office.
The 1892 date is particularly interesting because historical railroad records indicate the local Pennsylvania & Schuylkill Valley Railroad station had originally been called Adams Station, with the name changed to Adamsdale in 1892.
Period Schuylkill County histories also document Adamsdale as a community associated with local industry and transportation.
The card was mailed in 1915, only about 23 years after the Adamsdale post office was established and nearly half a century before it closed.

Good antique used condition with typical age-related wear.
Card shows corner and edge wear, light toning/soiling, and handling consistent with a mailed postcard more than 100 years old. Small corner creases/wear are visible. Writing remains legible on the reverse.
The Adamsdale, PA 1915 postmark is strong and highly readable, making this a particularly nice example for a Pennsylvania DPO or Schuylkill County postal-history collection.
