Up for sale is an authentic, official state diplomatic presentation gift commissioned by the Presidential Office of Taiwan (Republic of China).

The Piece: A stunning high-fired conical porcelain studio bowl finished in an expert macro-crystalline glaze. The organic zinc silicate crystal structures mimic a "frozen lake" or "ice bloom" effect, fading into a beautiful translucent aqua blue center pool.

The Markings: The base features the official four-character gold stamp beneath the glaze: “總統府贈” (Zǒngtǒngfǔ Zèng), translating precisely to "Gift from the Presidential Office".

Condition & Packaging: The bowl is in flawless condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It comes housed in its original, heavily padded traditional orange-brown silk brocade presentation box with a golden-yellow satin interior lining.

Note: This item was recovered from an estate cleanup of a prominent family in Belcourt, ND, on the Turtle Mountain Reservation, historically connected to local regional tribal administration lines that participated in international leadership delegations to East Asia during the 2000s.

Conical Bowl- 6.25" in diameter. Foot measures approx. 2" in diameter.  Measures 1mm in thickness. (It is paper thin!)

The Conical bowl is in PRISTINE AND PERFECT CONDITION. No chips, cracks or scratches. The interior of box and silk linings is also pristine.

The outside of box appears to have some minimal, hard to notice water staining and slight fuzz on silk on the edges of box. The original booklet/card is missing. But a Provenance and Fact Sheet Cards have been printed and are included to cite age, history and origin.*****
