This framed piece is an original vintage "Dakota Prairie Picture" created using handmade feather-flower craft and watercolor, signed by North Dakota folk artist Ida Bisek Prokop.

It features a mixed-media floral arrangement constructed from real bird feathers arranged to look like flowers emerging from a painted pitcher.

The artwork is set inside a traditional textured oak wood frame with a layered matting border.

These unique regional souvenirs and nature collages date back to the mid-20th century (circa 1930s–1950s.
