Up for sale today is an Original "Made in the USA" Coleman Model L427 Quick-Lite Lantern. I can't make out the date stamp on the bottom of the tank, but this one would have been made in the mid to late 1930's

     This lantern is still in excellent vintage condition. There are however a couple of very small dents on the tank, and a couple of small chips in the green paint though, but none of this is bad by any means. The nickel plating still has a very nice shine to it everywhere. I am sure that it could be polished up for a more brilliant shine with a little effort though. The globe is a replacement, and it is in excellent condition. As you can see this lamp is still in perfect working condition. It burns extremely bright. I added a brand new old stock R55 generator on it. It pumps up and holds its pressure all day long. This lantern will be shipped empty, so all you will have to do is install new mantles and fuel, and it will be ready to use.
