I purchased this wire over 40 years ago under the sales description of the wire being pure 14K gold.

Prior to listing I submitted for testing and was informed it only contained 20 percent of 14K gold. I have also had the wire's gauge measured and the half round presented in this listing was closer to 24 gauge versus the 22 I was told I was buying. Despite the wire's age, there is no indication of tarnishing. It looks the same as the day I bought it.

I'm not upset it was misrepresented when I bought it since the price of gold then was but a fraction of todays' prices. I'm offering this wire based on the worst of the analysis.

Be advised this listing is for 5 FEET of wire. Some have questioned the amount a quantity of 1 represents.
