Product Description
The 15 years maturing in sherry oak is apparent in the first sip of this intense yet balanced Whisky from Tamdhu. There is an aromatic array of apple pastry, spiced currants and orange is followed by pineapple and fennel.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose: Sherry oak envelops the nose: apple pastry with spiced currants and orange, followed by pineapple and fennel, all woven with a warm, nutty oak sweetness and refined spice.
Palate: Intense yet balanced on the palate, sherry-influenced Tamdhu unfurls apple pastry, spiced currants and orange, then reveals pineapple and fennel. Warm, velvety sweetness with subtle spice lingers into a long, refined finish.
Finish: Long, sherry-oak finish with warming spice and dried fruit. Orange zest and currants linger, while apple pastry meets pineapple and fennel, ending on a refined, lingering sweetness.
