Product Description
This limited RAER expression begins with the distillery’s signature blended Scotch before undergoing further maturation in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask sourced from Jerez in Andalucía. Bottled at 40% ABV and unpeated, the cask brings a richer, fuller character to the original blend while retaining its smooth and accessible style.
Oloroso sherry cask influence adds dried fruit, roasted nuts, caramel and vanilla, balanced by a distinctly drier finish. The result is a rounded and full-bodied blended Scotch with plenty of sherried depth without becoming overly sweet.
TASTING NOTES
Colour:
Nose: Deep roasted nuttiness with rich dried fruit and ripe raisins.
Palate: Intense dark fruit with banana, caramel and vanilla, complemented by dry Oloroso sherry and gentle oak.
Finish: Lingering and comparatively dry, with juicy fruitcake, ripe raisins and soft nutty notes.
