Offering this vintage ERB copy of "Swords of Mars" (Book 8 of the Barsoom series) by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzana, CA: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., n.d. [1948 reprint published directly by ERB]. The copyright page retains the original 1936 date, there is no date on the title page; the cover boards, dust jacket, and single interior illustration point to this specific copy being a 1948 reprint. Grey/tweed cloth hardcover with brown stamped letters, original dust jacket, pp. 315, and includes the iconic frontispiece illustration by J. Allen St. John.

Overall condition is Very Good. The binding is secure, cover boards have corner bumps and light wear. The jacket is intact with small edge tears and tiny losses at corners and spine ends, and the underside has foxing (see picture). DJ spine is sunned, color faded. Pages are mildly age toned, else clean and unmarked, without creases or tears. A nice complete copy!
