Likely to have been re-chromed at some point  Weighs over 13kgs. Probably would have had an electric bell in and has been replaced and a plastic washer is visible as shown in the photos. Bell will move round on the stand and could be tightened up if required. 

There's a few slight marks and pitting to the chrome but very minor and is in really good condition considering its age. 

The red plinths are used in order for the bell to ring otherwise the clanger catches the surface. The red plinths are included in the sale.
