Wading through my late father's huge hoard, it's time to begin addressing the boxes of axes he amassed.
This sale is for;
A lovely old side axe, with offset handle.
The notes accompanying it were vague, but it came from Slovenia, but possibly originated elsewhere.
Brietbel design, with a clear maker's stamp.
Weighs just over 3lb with handle, which is riddled with historic wormholes, but sturdy enough.
