Please measure your door thickness before you order. This hook does not flex to fit — the saddle opening is a fixed size, so a hook bought for a 44 mm door will rock on a 35 mm door, and a 35 mm hook will not go over a 44 mm door at all. Measure the edge of the door itself (not the frame or the architrave) with a ruler or tape, and order the size that matches. Most UK internal doors are 35 mm; 40 mm is common on heavier doors; fire doors are usually 44 mm or 45 mm (FD30) and 54 mm (FD60) — check yours, as both 44 mm and 45 mm FD30 doors are sold in the UK and the difference matters here.
